Data Analyst – Client Services

Annual Salary – $70,000-$75,000

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Information Systems, Finance or Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience focused on data analysis. Visualization is strongly preferred.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise in Salient end-user technologies (Salient web, mobile, and desktop applications) and in applying Salient technologies to meet client business needs.
  • Design, improve, and implement analytical content and Consumer Goods industry best practice templates on client solutions and internal demo datasets. 
  • Create detailed documentation of business scenarios and platform capabilities for client demonstrations.
  • Define step-by-step methods to identify opportunities for improving profitability, cost savings, and efficiency gains including recommended actions for enhancement.
  • Conduct analytical studies, such as Category Analysis, to uncover actionable insights for clients.
  • Analyze client data to identify improvement opportunities, delivering clear, fact-based explanations using the Salient platform.
  • Provide support for additional client delivery services relevant to client service agreements and initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in dashboards, data analysis, and visualization 
  • Experience with HTML and CSS (Javascript experience is a plus)
  • Experience with database technologies is preferable
  • Must be strong in problem-solving and scientific/mathematical thinking skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and instructions
  • Ability to create organized and professional material 
  • Ability to perform in an environment with multiple projects and priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to experiment and learn new tools and technologies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in writing
